Jeff is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants, the Institute of Directors and the International Fiscal Association, and has 35 years' experience in chartered accountancy, 24 of which have been in a tax advisory capacity.  His extensive professional experience, in both the public and private sector, is well utilised at TaxTeam, providing independent commercial advice to public sector entities and their commercial business offshoots.

Jeff also has overall responsibility for the management of TaxTeam.

Richard Toovey

Richard is a member of the New Zealand Institute of Chartered Accountants and the International Fiscal Association, a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and has extensive experience in providing taxation advice to some of New Zealand's largest corporates.  His goal is to make a difference to local communities, and he fulfils this by specialising in advising the local authority sector on tax risk management processes and tax-efficient group restructuring.

Richard also has overall responsibility for TaxTeam's marketing strategy and systems.

Phil is a member of the UK Chartered Institute of Taxation, and joined TaxTeam upon moving to New Zealand in early 2006.  Having had a private-sector focus in the UK, since joining TaxTeam, Phil has gained broad experience in the public sector, advising on compliance, policy and transactional matters.  His particular areas of expertise include tax-structuring for better community outcomes, tax-efficient remuneration packages, and the taxation treatment of allowances, payments and benefits.
